Building a website with AI: what happens in those 5 minutes?

"AI builds websites" surprises nobody any more; the real question is what does it actually produce? Is it filling in the blanks of a template, or genuinely building something for you? Here is a transparent walk through the five minutes inside the İyziWeb studio.

1. It reads your sentence and asks what is missing

You typed "We run day trips to the coast out of Newport". The engine first analyses the request: which sector, what the site is probably for, what information is missing. Then it asks you a few multiple-choice questions — "is the main purpose of the site booking or promotion?" You can skip anything you are unsure about; your answers shape the structure.

2. Brand voice and colour direction

In the second stage a plan for your business appears: target audience, section structure, brand voice. You are offered colour palettes prepared for your sector — tap one, or write your own ("navy and gold"). Typography and spacing are built around that choice.

3. Images are generated, not licensed from a stock site

The images for your site are produced on the spot, specific to your business. A boat tour site does not get the "smiling team meeting" photo everyone else downloaded; your own scene is composed. Generated images are cleared for commercial use. If you upload your own logo and photographs, those are used instead.

4. The page gets written — all of the code

This is the longest stage: the model writes the entire site in one pass — copy, layout, mobile breakpoints, animation, search tags. No template slots are being filled; every site is built from scratch, which is why two İyziWeb sites do not look alike. You watch the sections settle into place while it happens.

5. Publishing and afterwards

If you like it, one click: your site is live on an SSL-secured address with hosting on us. The admin panel is ready too — visitor numbers, incoming messages, product and blog entries in one place. Something you dislike? Type it into the chat: "change the headline", "regenerate the images". Only the part you named changes.

What does it cost?

The starter plan is free with no time limit: 40 credits a day, refilled every morning, with hosting, SSL and maintenance included. Pro is $15/month — it adds your own domain (first year included), removes the İyziWeb badge and gives you 300 credits a month. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Where does it struggle?

Let's be honest: AI generation is not magic. In a very niche sector the first pass can come back as a page you would call "not quite it" — which is why we care so much about the revision loop. And when the generation queue is busy you may wait a few extra minutes. That is what beta means: your feedback makes the product better every week.

The rest is easy to check for yourself: the flow is on video here, some finished sites are on the examples page, and the free trial is on the home page.

If you would rather write the copy yourself first, how to write website copy gives you the patterns, and what to prepare beforehand lists what to have ready.
